Art attracts art. The Harn Museum of Art recognizes that running a small business is no small feat, some may even call it an art. The Harn Museum of Art wants to increase traffic to their museum and become ingrained in Gainesville’s small-town culture. This is why they’re partnering with Greater Gainesville Chamber to create economic opportunity for local Gainesville businesses through a Small Business Gallery.

There’s art and an artist behind every Gainesville small business. The Small Business Gallery features the art local Gainesville businesses provide to customers everyday that keeps them coming back and contributes to the depth of the city’s community.

Patrons can scan QR codes on the works' artist statement displayed in the Small Business Gallery to receive discounts in-store at the local businesses.

At Local Businesses

Curators from the Harn will collaborate with local businesses to sculpt artist statements explaining to viewers the meaning behind each work. These artist statements are presented within the pieces at the businesses too, drawing consumers into the museum.
